Built in 1916, the red‑brick building still houses its original machinery, including the impressive B&W diesel engine from 1923 that once supplied electricity to the surrounding factories. Stepping inside feels like entering a time capsule, with gauges, pipes and control panels left almost exactly as they were during the station’s working years.
