The Kaunas State Musical Theatre sits in the city centre of Kaunas, along the main Laisvės alėja boulevard, just off the central urban park known as City Garden. The stately building with a neobaroque façade stands back from the busy avenue, facing the green square and within easy walking distance of the main shopping and cultural streets. From the theatre you can walk along Laisvės alėja to cafés, boutiques, and the city’s central squares, and continue into the Old Town with its Town Hall and Kaunas Castle.
