Rosersberg Palace is located at Slottsvägen, 195 95 Rosersberg, about 40 kilometers north of central Stockholm, on the shores of Lake Mälaren in the municipality of Sigtuna. Built in the 1630s by the Oxenstierna family and later becoming a royal palace in 1762, it is renowned for its remarkably well-preserved interiors from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, offering a rare glimpse into Sweden’s royal past. The palace is surrounded by extensive English-style parkland and picturesque gardens, with walking trails leading towards Sigtuna Bay and Lake Mälaren. Nearby, you’ll find the Rosersbergsbadet Beach, about 650 meters away, and a steamboat jetty just 200 meters from the palace, ideal for lakeside walks or swimming. The palace grounds include a summer café, hotel, and conference facilities, and the historic town of Sigtuna is a short drive or hike away, offering additional cultural and historical attractions. The location is easily accessible by car or commuter train to Rosersberg Station, followed by a 2 km walk.
