Built in the 1630s by the Oxenstierna family and later becoming a royal palace in 1762, it is renowned for its remarkably well-preserved interiors from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, offering a rare glimpse into Sweden’s royal past. The palace is surrounded by extensive English-style parkland and picturesque gardens, with walking trails leading towards Sigtuna Bay and Lake Mälaren. Nearby, you’ll find the Rosersbergsbadet Beach, about 650 meters away, and a steamboat jetty just 200 meters from the palace, ideal for lakeside walks or swimming.
