Inside, the tower houses original medieval mechanics and offers guided tours that reveal its rich history and inner workings. Climbing the 130 steps rewards visitors with panoramic views of Bern’s UNESCO-listed Old Town and, on clear days, the distant Alps. This landmark medieval clock tower, dating back to the early 13th century, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Bern’s most recognizable symbols.
