University Museum

The University Museum of Iași offers an intimate journey through the academic heritage of Romania’s oldest university, founded in 1860 by Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza. Housed in a historic building near the main campus, the museum preserves documents, objects, and stories that shaped generations of scholars. One of its most interesting features is the original rector’s office, carefully reconstructed with period furniture that evokes the intellectual atmosphere of 19th‑century Iași.
