Opened in 1991, the Megaron Athens Concert Hall is one of Europe’s premier venues for music, performance, and cultural dialogue. Located on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, the complex features four state-of-the-art halls, including the 1,960-seat Christos Lambrakis Hall and the 1,500-seat Alexandra Trianti Hall, both renowned for their acoustics and architectural elegance. The Megaron Athens Concert Hall is located at the intersection of Vasilissis Sofias Avenue and Kokkali Street, in the central district of Athens known for its cultural landmarks. This modern venue, inaugurated in 1991, features four main halls—Christos Lambrakis, Dimitris Mitropoulos, Alexandra Trianti, and Nikos Skalkottas—hosting world-class concerts, operas, ballet, and conferences. The Megaro Moussikis metro station is directly outside, providing fast connections to the rest of the city. Its central position places it near the upscale Kolonaki neighborhood, the National Gallery, and the Byzantine and Christian Museum.
