ARCOlisboa is Lisbon’s premier international contemporary art fair, held annually at the historic Cordoaria Nacional. Organized by IFEMA Madrid and the Lisbon City Council, the event transforms the city into a global hub for collectors, curators, and artists. The 2025 edition, running from May 29 to June 1, features over 80 galleries from 17 countries, showcasing a diverse mix of Portuguese and international talent. Highlights include curated sections such as “The Shapes of the Ocean,” exploring African diasporic connections, and “Opening,” which introduces emerging artistic voices. ARCOlisboa also hosts talks, workshops, and digital exhibitions, fostering dialogue across continents.
