The Palais Rohan, serving as Bordeaux’s City Hall, is located on Place Pey Berland, right next to the Saint-André Cathedral in the city center. This historic neoclassical building was originally built between 1772 and 1778 as the archbishop's palace before becoming the town hall. Nearby are significant landmarks including the Saint-André Cathedral, the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, and the Bordeaux Museum of Fine Arts. The square itself is a lively hub with cafes and shops, and the location offers excellent access to public transport including tram lines A and B at the Hôtel de Ville station.
