MAXXI, the National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome, is a landmark of contemporary culture and architecture, designed by Zaha Hadid. The building itself is an architectural marvel, with sweeping curves, fluid lines, and overlapping platforms of glass, concrete, and steel that create a dynamic, light-filled space. Inside, MAXXI houses two main areas: MAXXI Art, featuring over 300 works by artists such as Warhol, Kapoor, Boetti, and Richter, and MAXXI Architecture, which displays personal archives and projects by figures like Carlo Scarpa, Aldo Rossi, and Toyo Ito.
