Park Tysiąclecia is located at the intersection of ul. gen. Woyczyńskiego and Kniaziewicza streets in Toruń's left-bank (Kujawska) district, covering approximately 19-22 hectares on the grounds of the historic Fort Przyczółek Mostowy from the 19th-century Twierdza Toruń fortifications. Established in the 1960s to commemorate Poland's Millennium, the park evolved from fortress greenery around the fort's combat slope, featuring a 950-meter water moat, a small pond remnant of defensive flooding fed by Struga Wielanda stream, and walking paths amid green landscapes. Nearby, explore the Fort Przyczółek Mostowy itself with its military remnants, local residential areas, and easy access to other Twierdza Toruń elements like nearby forts, while central Old Town landmarks such as the Vistula boulevards, Old Town Market Square, and St. John's Cathedral lie about 3 km east across the river. This green space offers a peaceful contrast to Toruń's medieval core, ideal for history and nature enthusiasts.
