Established as a botanical garden in 1797 and expanded with a zoo in 1965, this compact 3.81-hectare site features around 72 animal species including bison, lynxes, black bears, meerkats, and exotic birds, alongside rare plants and an aviary. Nearby, visitors can stroll through City Park just 1 km east, explore Vistula River boulevards and promenades, or walk 1 km southeast to central landmarks like the House of Nicolaus Copernicus, St. John's Cathedral, and the Leaning Tower.
