You reach the island from the town center by walking across the famous Colonnade Bridge over the Váh River. The park extends from Krajinský Bridge toward the golf course on Kúpeľný ostrov and is surrounded by lush greenery, flower beds, and numerous trees from different continents. The park is at the heart of Piešťany’s spa culture and is close to many attractions. Nearby places include the Balneological Museum, Napoleon’s Spa, the House of Arts, Eva Swimming Pool, the Crutch Breaker sculpture, and several spa hotels such as Thermia Palace and Ensana Splendid. The Kursalon, lovely lotus ponds with Victoria regia water lilies, and the golf course on the island are also within easy walking distance, making the park a perfect spot to combine relaxation with sightseeing.
