Hudobný pavilón (Music Pavilion) is a small concert pavilion in Mestský park (City Park) in Piešťany, at Sad Andreja Kmeťa, close to the town center and the Váh River. Built in 1968, it is a traditional venue for musical performances, folk and theatre group shows, the summer Bazant Kinematograf film festival, and other cultural events. The pavilion is located in the heart of Piešťany’s park and spa area, so many attractions are nearby. Just a short walk away are the Colonnade Bridge, the iconic Barbreaker (Crutch Breaker) sculpture, the Balneological Museum in the Kursalon, Napoleon’s Spa, the Spa Museum, Eva Thermal Pool, and the spa hotels on Spa Island. City Park itself, with its flower alley and walking paths, surrounds the pavilion, and the House of Arts, the main pedestrian center, cafés, and shops are also close, making it easy to combine a visit with a walk through the town’s cultural and spa sights.
