The Roman Museum Lausanne-Vidy is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, in the Vidy district on the shores of Lake Geneva. You will find it at Chemin du Bois-de-Vaux, right next to the remains of the ancient Roman settlement Lousonna. The museum sits within an archaeological park, so the building itself is part of the historic site it presents. It is easy to reach from the city center by bus or on foot along the lakefront promenade. Its lakeside location makes it simple to combine with other attractions. The Vidy promenade runs directly past the museum and is perfect for a walk or bike ride with views of the Alps and the lake.
