MuseumLV Gallery in Riga is a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to showcasing contemporary Latvian visual art. Founded as part of the Grata JJ cultural center, it supports artists who emerged after Latvia’s independence, emphasizing both classical European values and boundary-pushing creativity. With over 600 square meters of exhibition space and more than 150 represented artists, MuseumLV offers a diverse program of solo and group exhibitions, often running multiple shows simultaneously across its branches. The gallery also organizes the annual Grata Prize contest, celebrating both established and emerging talent. Beyond exhibitions, MuseumLV fosters public engagement through lectures, masterclasses, poetry evenings, and art history courses led by experts from Latvia’s top cultural institutions. Its commitment to education and artistic excellence makes it a cornerstone of Riga’s contemporary art scene, where professional artists and curious visitors alike find inspiration and connection.
