Vērmanes Garden is Riga’s second-oldest public park and a cherished green space in the city centre. Established in 1814 through the generosity of Anna Gertrud Vērmane, who donated land and funds, the park has evolved into a vibrant urban retreat. Vērmanes Garden is Riga’s oldest public park, located in the very center of the city and bordered by Tērbatas, Elizabetes, Krišjāņa Barona, and Merķeļa streets.
