Funchal Quay is the main cruise ship pier and harbor frontage located along the eastern waterfront of Funchal, Madeira Island's capital in Portugal, stretching parallel to Avenida do Mar promenade. This historic port, developed in the 19th century for transatlantic steamers, now welcomes large cruise liners just a 15-20 minute walk from the city center. Directly adjacent is Funchal Marina with Beluga Submarine boat tours, flanked by CR7 Cristiano Ronaldo Museum and his iconic statue. Within 500 meters stand Varadouros Old Gate, Mercado dos Lavradores market, Sé Cathedral, Chafariz da Praça do Município fountain, and Zona Velha historic streets. Further west along the promenade are Funchal Customs House, Madeira Story Centre, and city gardens, linking seamlessly to the broader downtown area.
