The Museum of Industry is located in the historic centre of Ghent at Minnemeers 10, close to the Vrijdagmarkt square and the Leie river. It occupies a former cotton mill, just a short walk north of the medieval heart of the city and within easy reach of major sights such as Vrijdagmarkt, the Patershol district and the Gravensteen castle. The museum lies near several tram and bus stops, with Gent-Dampoort railway station about a 15‑minute walk away, and it is also close to the low-emission city centre car parks including Parking Vrijdagmarkt.
