Huis van Alijn is located at Kraanlei 65 in the historic heart of Ghent, near the Vrijdagmarkt square and Gravensteen castle. This former almshouse and children's hospice sits along the Kraanlei canal, within Ghent's pedestrian centre and close to the Patershol neighbourhood with its charming alleys and eateries. Nearby attractions include the Dulle Griet cannon monument, St. Veerleplein square, Graslei and Korenlei waterfronts, and easy access to public transport from Gent-Sint-Pieters station via tram or bus.
