This neo-Romanesque cruciform church, built between 1913 and 1916 and designed by Hubert van Groenendael, was the city's first parish church beyond the walls but closed for worship in 1985 due to subsidence from underlying kazematten tunnels; it now serves as a multifunctional event space.
