Frontenpark is a rugged 20-hectare urban nature reserve in northeastern Maastricht, connecting the Hoge and Lage Fronten—historic 18th- and 19th-century fortifications—via a dry moat under Cabergerweg, forming the wild green edge of the Sphinxkwartier redevelopment area. Bordered by Frontensingel and near the Noorderbrug approach, it lies just outside the city centre, with easy access from Q-Park Frontenpark garage and public transport stops like Boschstraat/Maagdendries.
