Nuuksio National Park is located in the Nuuksio district of Espoo, with its main entrance area at Nuuksiontie 84, 02820 Espoo, in the western part of the Helsinki metropolitan area. The park stretches across Espoo, Kirkkonummi, and Vihti, and is easily reached from Espoo town centre by bus or car, lying only about 25–35 kilometres from downtown Helsinki. Nearby, visitors can access Haltia – The Finnish Nature Centre, Finnish Nature Centre Haltia‑Pirttimäki, several recreational areas such as Haukkalampi and Salmi, as well as surrounding districts like Leppävaara, Espoon keskus, and Vihti, all offering services, restaurants, and accommodation that make a full‑day outdoor visit or multi‑day trip convenient.
