The Moomin Museum is located at Tampere Hall, Yliopistonkatu 55, FI-33100 Tampere, Finland, right in the heart of Tampere. Nearby attractions include Tampere Central Square (Keskustori) just a short walk west along Hämeenkatu, the scenic Tammerkoski river across the way, and Vapriikki Museum Centre on the opposite riverbank, home to the Finnish Museum of Games. The Tampere Art Museum and University of Tampere are across the street, while Pyynikki Park and its observation tower lie about 2 km southwest, easily reached by foot or tram.
