The NTNU University Museum in Trondheim is one of Norway’s oldest scholarly institutions, bringing together natural history, archaeology and cultural heritage under one roof. NTNU University Museum is located in the centre of Trondheim, at Kalvskinnet on Erling Skakkes gate 47B. This makes it an easy stop for visitors exploring the historic core of the city, with the museum set within one of Trondheim’s most central and walkable areas. Nearby, you will find some of Trondheim’s best-known attractions, which makes the museum a good addition to a sightseeing route. Nidaros Cathedral is one of the most important landmarks in the city and is close enough to combine with a visit to the museum during the same day. The Archbishop’s Palace is also nearby and adds a strong historical layer to the area.
