Eco Park Ilina Voda is one of Kragujevac’s most charming nature retreats, a peaceful blend of woodland, water, and family‑friendly attractions just minutes from the city centre. Originally developed around a natural spring, the park has grown into a small eco‑complex where visitors can enjoy both quiet walks and playful encounters with animals. Inside the park, the small zoo is a favourite stop. It features deer, peacocks, goats, and other friendly species that children can observe up close. The lake, fed by the Ilina Voda spring, adds a serene touch; its wooden bridges and shaded banks make it ideal for slow strolls and photography. A particularly interesting detail is the park’s collection of traditional wooden sculptures, carved by local artists and placed along the paths to create an open‑air gallery. Eco Park Ilina Voda also preserves elements of rural heritage. The reconstructed watermill demonstrates how grain was once processed using natural power, while the rustic cottages show typical local architecture. Visitors can relax in picnic areas, enjoy playgrounds, or follow short forest trails that highlight native plants and wildlife.
