DobraVaga is a vibrant exhibition and project space in Ljubljana’s central marketplace, overlooking the Ljubljanica River. Established in 2016 and run by Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture, it blends a sales gallery, open studio, and creative lab for emerging visual artists. With a motto of “art by the pound,” DobraVaga offers affordable works ranging from illustration and graphic design to zines and artist’s books. Its open studio residency invites visitors to observe artists at work, while monthly exhibitions and zine showcases highlight fresh, experimental voices. DobraVaga challenges traditional art market norms, fostering a dynamic platform for Slovenia’s new generation of creators.
