The Vilnius Auto Museum, known locally as Automuziejus Vilnius, is Lithuania’s largest private museum dedicated to historic transportation technology. Opened in 2023 within the repurposed Vilnius Taxi Park, the museum showcases over 100 meticulously restored vehicles across two expansive floors. Visitors can explore rare automobiles from more than 70 global brands, including Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Cadillac, and Hispano-Suiza, each representing milestones in design, engineering, and cultural history. The collection spans 150 years of automotive evolution, featuring presidential limousines, racing legends, and vehicles once owned by iconic figures such as Coco Chanel and Albert Einstein. The museum’s immersive layout and architectural setting—complete with spiral ramps and industrial charm—create a unique experience that blends nostalgia with innovation. Located near Vilnius Old Town, it offers a compelling journey through time for car enthusiasts, history lovers, and curious travelers alike.

The Vilnius Auto Museum is located at Dariaus ir Girėno Street 2, in the historic Vilnius Taxi Park, just a short distance from Vilnius Old Town. Opened in 2023, this museum boasts the largest private collection of historic vehicles in Lithuania, showcasing over 100 cars, motorcycles, carriages, fire engines, and military vehicles. Visitors can explore various iconic and rare automobiles linked to significant historical figures around the world. The industrial-style building itself is a landmark, originally built in 1972. Close to the museum, tourists can enjoy access to the vibrant Old Town with its shops, cafes, and cultural landmarks like the Vilnius Museum of Illusions, Gate of Dawn, and the Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit.
