Housed in a historic 19th-century residence once belonging to Cvetko Rajović, the Museum of Pedagogy in Belgrade offers a compelling journey through the evolution of Serbian education. Designed by Franc Janke, Serbia’s first national architect, the building itself is a cultural monument and former site of the city’s first Realka High School. The museum’s permanent exhibition, “Ten Centuries of the Serbian School,” traces the development of educational practices from the 9th to the early 20th century.
