The Kunsthalle zu Kiel is located at Düsternbrooker Weg 1, north of the city center in Kiel, Germany. The museum is close to the Zoological Museum and the Medical and Pharmaceutical Historical Collection, which are also part of Christian-Albrechts University. Note that the Kunsthalle is currently closed for renovation until 2028, with exhibitions held at external venues during this period.​
