Vergers Urbain V is a historic public garden located directly behind the eastern slope of the Palais des Papes in Avignon's UNESCO-listed historic center, on the left bank of the Rhône River in Provence, southeastern France. Originally the 14th-century orchard of Pope Urban V, it features fruit trees, a flower meadow, a dry fountain, shaded terraces, and a children's play area with animal sculptures, all redeveloped since 2017 as part of the Palais gardens ensemble. Nearby stand the Palais des Papes' towering battlements, the Rocher des Doms gardens with panoramic views, the Cathédrale Notre-Dame des Doms, and easy access to Place du Palais, central squares like Place de l'Horloge, the ramparts, and the Rhône quays leading to the Pont d'Avignon.​
