Passage de la Pyramide is a historic pedestrian passageway located near Boulevard Saint-Lazare and Porte Limbert in the eastern sector of Avignon's medieval ramparts, just outside the UNESCO-listed historic centre on the left bank of the Rhône River in Provence, southeastern France. Named after the nearby 14th-century Tour de la Pyramide—a sluice tower controlling water from the Sorgue River to the city's dye works—it forms part of the Poterne des Teinturiers opened in 1995, offering a charming arched gateway through the ancient fortifications. Nearby stand the ramparts' towers and gates like Porte Saint-Lazare, the Teinturiers canal with its waterwheels and artists' studios, residential neighborhoods, easy access to the Rhône quays and river paths, and a short walk or bus ride to the Palais des Papes, Place de l'Horloge cafés, and Pont Saint-Bénézet.
