Piazza del Duomo, also known as Piazza dei Miracoli, is a walled monumental square in the city of Pisa, in the Tuscany region of central Italy. It lies on the northern edge of Pisa’s historic centre, just inside the city walls and a short walk from the River Arno and the old town streets. Within the square itself stand the city’s most famous landmarks: Pisa Cathedral, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Baptistery and the Camposanto Monumentale, together with the Museo delle Sinopie and the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. The surrounding area offers cafés, shops and access routes leading towards Piazza dei Cavalieri and other historic palaces and churches in central Pisa.
