Cēsis Space Education Center is located on Cīrulīšu Street on the southern edge of Cēsis, in a modern building close to the forests and hills of the Gauja National Park area. It offers a three‑storey interactive exhibition about space research, astronaut life and the technologies used beyond Earth, designed to engage both children and adults. Inside, visitors can experiment with hands‑on exhibits, launch paper rockets and explore multimedia installations that make complex scientific ideas accessible in a playful way. The centre often hosts events, workshops and educational programmes linked to STEM subjects, making it a popular destination for school groups and families. Nearby you can visit the ZINOO Cēsis science centre, another interactive space focused on curiosity and physics, which combines well with the Space Education Center for a full day of learning. A short drive or bus ride brings you back into Cēsis Old Town, where you can explore Cēsis Medieval Castle, the New Castle with the History and Art Museum, and the atmospheric streets, cafés and parks of this historic town.
