Cēsis Exhibition Hall is located right beside the Cēsis castle complex, in a former manor stable and carriage house on the edge of Castle Park, just a few steps from the historic old town streets. The restored late Classicist building now serves as a cultural venue, hosting changing art exhibitions, concerts and other events that bring together local and international artists. From the hall you can walk directly into the Cēsis Castle complex, visiting the Medieval Castle ruins and the New Castle with the Cēsis History and Art Museum. Nearby paths lead through Castle Park and on towards the cobbled lanes of the old town, where you will find St John’s Church, Līvu Square and atmospheric cafés housed in historic buildings. Also within easy walking distance is the Cēsis Concert Hall, a modern cultural centre offering classical and contemporary music performances, cinema and additional exhibition spaces.
