Founded in 1977 as Wiesbaden’s first independent cultural initiative, the Thalhaus Theater has evolved into a beloved hub for performing arts and visual culture. Since 1998, it has occupied the historic former Kurhaus Bad Nerotal, offering an intimate setting with two stages, gallery rooms, and a café. The theater’s program spans cabaret, spoken word, jazz, magic, and variety shows, attracting both emerging and established artists. It also serves as a venue for weddings, readings, and community events, blending artistic flair with civic life. The in-house gallery hosts quarterly exhibitions of contemporary art, reinforcing the theater’s interdisciplinary spirit.
