Founded in 2017 after the closure of the historic Walhalla Theater, Walhalla im Exil emerged as a grassroots initiative led by Sigrid Skoetz and Marie Zbikowska. Located in Nerostraße 24, it has become a vibrant platform for avant-garde theatre, spoken word, jazz, film, and visual art. The venue hosts regular events such as Drink & Draw, Red & Blue Sessions, and themed evenings that blend improvisation, activism, and community engagement. With its flexible studio space and bar, Walhalla im Exil fosters intimate encounters between artists and audiences. It continues the legacy of its predecessor by championing independent voices and experimental formats, often staging productions in unconventional settings.
