Palazzo Canossa
Palazzo Canossa is one of Verona’s most elegant Renaissance residences, commissioned in 1527 by the noble Canossa family and designed by the celebrated architect Michele Sanmicheli. Located near the Arco dei Gavi and Castelvecchio, the palace is a refined example of Mannerist architecture, distinguished by its harmonious façade and the grand portico that frames its entrance. Inside, the palace once housed magnificent frescoes by Giambattista Tiepolo, tragically lost during the bombings of the Second World War.
