Sinagoga del Tránsito is located in Toledo's Jewish Quarter at Calle Samuel Levi s/n, 45002, housing the Sephardic Museum amid the city's medieval core. Built in 1357 by Samuel ha-Levi, treasurer to King Pedro I of Castile, it features exquisite Mudéjar stucco work, Hebrew inscriptions, and a women's gallery overlooking the prayer hall. Nearby, the El Greco Museum shares the block with Judaica shops, while the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, Church of Santo Tomé, and Paseo del Tránsito viewpoints connect via narrow lanes to Plaza Zocodover and the Tagus River gorge.
