The Catedral Primada de Toledo stands in the heart of the old town, on Calle Cardenal Cisneros, just off the main Zocodover market square and about a 5-minute walk from the main city gate, Puerta Nueva de Bisagra. It is located in the main historic quarter of Toledo, surrounded by narrow medieval streets and just steps from the Alcázar of Toledo, the Iglesia de Santo Tomé, and the Church of El Tránsito. Nearby, visitors can easily reach the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Puerta del Cambrón gate, and the central streets of the old Jewish quarter, all within a short walk through the atmospheric lanes of the walled city.
