Minnewater Park is located at the southwestern edge of Bruges’ historic centre, tucked between the green city ramparts and the serene Minnewater Lake (Lake of Love), serving as a peaceful gateway for visitors arriving by train or coach. Reachable via the striking red Bargebrug (Barge Bridge) from Bargeplein near Station Brugge, or bus stop 502736 (Brugge Bargeplein), it lies a 15-20 minute stroll south from Grote Markt along the canals. Across Wijngaardbrug stands the UNESCO-listed Princely Begijnhof (Beguinage) with its whitewashed houses and Begijnhofkapel, while Gentpoort city gate anchors the southern ramparts nearby.
