Koning Albert I Park (King Albert I Park) is located along Koning Albert I-laan in the southwestern part of Bruges’ historic centre, on the former site of the old 't Zand railway station where trains arrived for nearly a century before it relocated. This undulating green lung connects seamlessly to Minnewater Park and Lake of Love, guiding visitors towards the elegant city core via scenic paths, water features at both ends, weeping willows along a small canal, and a central equestrian statue of King Albert I. Easily reached on foot from Station Brugge in minutes or bus stop 502736 (Bargeplein), it lies a short stroll from ’t Zand Square with its playground, miniature summer train rides, and events like food truck festivals.
