Location

Bruges City Hall (Stadhuis van Brugge) is located at Burg 12 on the Burg Square in the historic center of Bruges, Belgium, adjacent to the Basilica of the Holy Blood. This late-Gothic landmark from 1376-1421 forms part of the former fortified castle area, steps from the Markt square via Breidelstraat. Nearby are the Basilica of the Holy Blood on the square's east side with its relic chapel, Land of Bruges Liberty (Vrijheidsbeeld van Brugge) statue, and Deanery building. Within 200 meters lie the Markt square with its Belfry tower and statue of Jan Breydel and Pieter de Coninck, plus canal-side landmarks like Rozenhoedkaai, Gruuthusemuseum, Groeninge Museum, Church of Our Lady, and Saint John's Hospital Museum.
