Turku Biological Museum is a charming natural history museum established in 1907, offering an immersive journey through Finland’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. Its hallmark is a series of 13 detailed dioramas that recreate natural habitats from the Turku Archipelago to the fells of Lapland, featuring 30 Finnish mammal species and more than a hundred bird species displayed in lifelike settings. The museum’s carefully crafted scenes allow visitors to experience the changing seasons and observe animals in realistic environments, making it especially engaging for families, school groups and anyone curious about Finnish nature.
