Slottsskogen Water Tower stands at the highest point of Slottsskogen Park in central Gothenburg, roughly 80 metres above sea level, along the main park paths on the northern side of the green area. The tower is situated close to Slottsskogsobservatoriet observatory and the park’s northern slopes, within easy walking distance of Slottsskogen Zoo, the Natural History Museum, and the park’s main lake and playgrounds, with the surrounding Haga and Örgryte districts and the city centre all within a short tram or bus ride, making it easy to combine a visit to the water tower with a longer outing in Slottsskogen or central Gothenburg.
