Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Banská Štiavnica

Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Banská Štiavnica is a quiet Gothic treasure tucked just below the Old Castle, forming part of the town’s oldest sacred complex. Built in the 13th century and later reshaped in the Gothic and Baroque periods, it once served as the parish church for a thriving mining community.
