You’ll find it on Ulica kralja Tomislava 5, just a short walk from Split’s lively Riva seafront and the main bus station. Inside, over 500 taxidermied frogs are posed in 21 detailed dioramas showing human scenes — frogs at school, playing sports, in a circus, sewing, painting, and more. Created by Hungarian taxidermist Ferenc Mere between 1910 and 1920, the collection took 10 years to complete and is considered a unique piece of taxidermy art.
