Zoom Kindermuseum
About

The ZOOM Kindermuseum in Vienna is a vibrant, hands-on museum designed especially for children aged 8 months to 14 years. Located in the MuseumsQuartier, it transforms learning into an adventure through interactive exhibitions, creative workshops, and a multimedia lab. Children are encouraged to explore, question, and create using all their senses—whether painting in the ZOOM Studio, experimenting in the Animation Lab, or diving into imaginative play in the ZOOM Ocean, a sensory-rich space for toddlers. The museum’s changing exhibitions tackle big ideas from science, art, and everyday life in ways that are playful and accessible. ZOOM also values inclusion, offering programs tailored to different age groups and abilities, and welcoming children from all backgrounds. With its emphasis on creativity, discovery, and participation, ZOOM Kindermuseum is more than a museum—it’s a space where young minds can grow, express themselves, and experience the joy of learning through play.
