Galeria Galateca is a multidisciplinary art and design gallery located in the heart of Bucharest, adjacent to the Central University Library “Carol I.” Since its founding in 2012, it has become a vibrant cultural hub known for its innovative exhibitions and collaborative projects that bridge contemporary art, science, and sustainability. The gallery hosts Romania’s only annual art and science event, Neo Art Connect, and has developed initiatives like “Art at the Entrance” and “Creative Sustainability Week.” Designed by architect Radu Teaca, Galateca blends historical architecture with modern aesthetics, offering a dynamic space for visual arts, performance, and multimedia installations. It also features NeoGalateca, a curated gallery shop showcasing limited-edition art and design objects inspired by Romanian traditions and international pop-up exhibitions. Through its diverse programming and commitment to emerging artists, Galateca fosters dialogue across disciplines and redefines how art interacts with urban life and community engagement.

Galerateca Gallery is located at 2-4 C.A. Rosetti Street in Sector 1, central Bucharest. It is situated on the ground floor of the Central University Library "Carol I," within a lively and modern space designed by the award-winning architect Radu Teaca. Since opening in 2012, Galateca has established itself as a multidisciplinary art and design gallery, showcasing a diverse range of contemporary works from Romanian and international artists.
