Tineretului Park is one of Bucharest’s largest and most vibrant green spaces, offering a mix of recreation, nature, and entertainment. Established in the 1960s, the park spans 94 hectares and was designed as the main leisure area for southern Bucharest. Its landscape features tree-lined paths, open lawns, and a large lake, making it a popular destination for relaxation and outdoor activities. The park is home to Orășelul Copiilor (Children’s Town), a lively amusement area with carousels, trampolines, and rides for all ages. Nearby, the Polyvalent Hall hosts concerts and sporting events, adding to the park’s dynamic atmosphere. Tineretului Park is located in southern Bucharest, in Sector 4, near the Tineretului and Constantin Brâncoveanu metro stations. It is one of the city’s largest parks, featuring a large lake, playgrounds, and recreational areas. Nearby, visitors can find the Sala Polivalentă, a major venue for concerts and sporting events, and the popular Orășelul Copiilor (Children’s Mini-town), an amusement area with rides and attractions for families. The park borders Bellu Cemetery to the southwest and is within a short distance of Carol Park, another significant green space.
