The Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art is one of Portugal’s leading cultural institutions, set within the expansive Serralves Park in Porto. The Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art is located within the Serralves Foundation estate at Rua Dom João de Castro 210, in western Porto, about 4–6 km from the historic city centre and the Ribeira riverfront. Set inside the expansive Parque de Serralves, it shares its grounds with the pink Art Deco Casa de Serralves villa, landscaped gardens, a treetop walk, and the Manoel de Oliveira Cinema House, creating a self-contained cultural park easily reached by bus from Avenida dos Aliados and close to Avenida da Boavista, Porto Botanical Garden, and urban routes leading toward Foz do Douro and the Atlantic shoreline.
